Could this be the Myst of the Source engine?

‘INFRA’ is a freshly released first-person puzzle adventure game. It was initially created as a Portal 2 modification, but became a standalone Source engine title after Steam Greenlight success in 2013.

Last month, Infra finally came out on Steam, and so far, it has received a fairly positive response from the community, including a nomination for IndieDB’s Indie of the Year Awards in December 2015. We take a quick look.

Last week we saw the release of a teaser trailer for a live action fan film, ‘Left 4 Dead – The Movie‘.

Initially created by a small filmmaking company known as Mexican Standoff in 2009, the production has been underway for over five years and is almost coming to completion.

We caught up with the film’s director, Daniele Bellucci to ask him some questions about the movie.

Revisit City 17 Like Never Before with ‘Half-Life 2: Update’, Coming Free to Steam on March 27th

A little over four years ago, we wrote an article to announce that version 2.0 of a little community-made ‘mod’ going by the name ‘Half Life 2: Update‘ had been released in response to Valve’s infamous 2010 Mac update that brought a weak implementation of HDR (High Dynamic Range) to Half Life 2 and an insane number of crippling bugs.

Half Life 2: Update fixed many of those bugs – unofficially – and enhanced many of the HDR effects in the vanilla game and just today, the lead developer Filip Victor has announced that the third and final iteration will be released for free on Steam this Friday, March 27th.

Half-Life: The Downfall of Evolution is an upcoming Half-Life live action fan film series.

We previously covered the same project in October last year when it was going under the name ‘Lambda Protocol’ with a slightly different team. It’s not quite clear what happened to the original crew or why the name changed apart from the mention of a copyright issue involving Machinima Prime.

Despite the branding changes, the movie still looks as visually epic as ever, check out the new teaser:
