If you’ve been following the hardware world, you should be aware that Nvidia is one of the tech giants on the market. Known for creating computer hardware for gamers, they produce stuff like the Titan, a GFX card that puts even Prometheus to shame.
They are also currently developing a handheld console, the SHIELD, which is powered by all kinds of Nvidia goodness and the Android operative system.
Why does this matter? Well, on their blog they announced that they are working with Valve to port the first Portal game over to the SHIELD, joining the around 300 games ready for purchase at the console’s release.
The price of the shield will be at a $199, the same as a Nintendo 3DS XL, and a bit more expensive than a PS Vita.
