Another year has passed and Half-Life 3 still hasn’t been released.
Not to worry though, thanks to a Reddit user we now have a dedicated website to constantly check the current status of the game’s unforeseen release – HasHalfLife3BeenReleased.com.
Another year has passed and Half-Life 3 still hasn’t been released.
Not to worry though, thanks to a Reddit user we now have a dedicated website to constantly check the current status of the game’s unforeseen release – HasHalfLife3BeenReleased.com.
The website, which is not associated with Valve (although is WHOIS registered to Mr. ‘Gaben Newell’), presents you with a pessimistic looking ‘NO’, that is, until the day ever comes when the next Half-Life is released.
And if this is not enough for you, the Valve Twitter community has had it’s fair share of Half-Life 3 ‘checkers’ for a while now:
It may just be a matter of time before telecom companies become part of the hype for checking the status of the game, imagine a ‘Is Half-Life 3 Out SMS service?’ or what about a UVB-76 style radio broadcast where instead of the buzzes there is just a constant voice stream saying ‘no’ in morse code.
Nevertheless, at least we can continue now remind ourselves that the wait for next Half-Life sequel is becoming, well, even more longer!
For everyone to feel even worst try to play through ep 2 with dev commentary on… they talk about episode 3 as if they were talking about what they ate the day before, it breaks my heart nearly as much as the ending of the episode.
“And it never will be.”
Unfortunately, I have to agree.
