Black Mesa was released by @BlackMesaDevs on Steam Early Access 9 years ago today, May 5, 2015.

This release included all earthbound chapters (with Xen taking another 5 years to complete in 2020), and was teased in the form of an ARG.

The ARG ran across several minisites, including an EAS message streamed on a TV, a fictitious news blog "KXBMnet" and a distorted countdown clock featuring G-Man.
