Half-Life: The Downfall of Evolution

Half-Life

Half-Life: The Downfall of Evolution is an upcoming Half-Life live action fan film series.

We previously covered the same project in October last year when it was going under the name ‘Lambda Protocol’ with a slightly different team. It’s not quite clear what happened to the original crew or why the name changed apart from the mention of a copyright issue involving Machinima Prime.

Despite the branding changes, the movie still looks as visually epic as ever, check out the new teaser:

Elements: An Animated Cyberpunk Web Series

Source

A futuristic city, a violent gang, and a woman left only with her morals. This is the world of Elements. An Original Source Filmmaker Web Series directed by Casey Billadeau.

Casey and his team have been working to craft this project that takes place in it’s own universe, but now they need your help to accelerate the production and make the vision of Elements a reality.

“Lambda Protocol” Live Action Fan Film Series Teased

Half-Life

A while back, a series titled “The Freeman Chronicles” was announced and a fundraiser was started on Indiegogo. It raised close to a third of its $75,000 goal, and donations are still available on the official website. Apart from the “Escape From City-17” shorts, this is probably one of the closest thing we’ve had to a live action Half-Life series. However, less than a month ago, CoolBrosChannel uploaded a teaser for an upcoming project.

Let’s check it out.

Vae Victis – Machinima Series

Half-Life

“Vae Victis” (Latin for “Woe to the Vanquished”) is a 2009 machinima series created by Eddie Smithson and published by Machinima. Vae Victis is well written and features a fairly equal mix of action and storytelling. With great filming and effects, but a disappointing ending, Vae Victis is still definitely worth checking out. More info and the videos after the jump.
