A new Half-Life Fan Film is in the works, and it looks promising.

Creating art isn’t easy. It takes vision, dedication, knowledge, cooperation, and – as any visitor to this site will know – time.
Last week we saw the release of a teaser trailer for a live action fan film, ‘Left 4 Dead – The Movie‘.
Initially created by a small filmmaking company known as Mexican Standoff in 2009, the production has been underway for over five years and is almost coming to completion.
We caught up with the film’s director, Daniele Bellucci to ask him some questions about the movie.
In November 2009, a small filmmaking production studio called Mexican Standoff started working on a non-profit fan film based on Valve’s hit zombie shooter Left 4 Dead.
A trailer for the upcoming film, simply entitled ‘Left 4 Dead – The Movie‘ was just uploaded to YouTube and has already gained some traction, check it out:

The team behind the upcoming live action fan film series “Half-Life: The Downfall of Evolution” have launched an Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign that seeks to raise $20,000 before the 30th October.

We previously covered the same project in October last year when it was going under the name ‘Lambda Protocol’ with a slightly different team. It’s not quite clear what happened to the original crew or why the name changed apart from the mention of a copyright issue involving Machinima Prime.
Despite the branding changes, the movie still looks as visually epic as ever, check out the new teaser:

Machinima Prime, a sub-channel of the popular Machinima.com gaming network , just uploaded a trailer for a fan-film named ‘Half-Life: Raise the Bar’.
The full film will be uploaded this Friday and can be viewed on the MachinimaPrime Channel on YouTube.
