Valve Has A New Logo Intro Video – And It’s Even Creepier Than Their Last Ones

The Dota 2 leak, despite representing a bit of a problem for Valve, has made many fans happy. Lots of revealing mentions of Episode Three, mysterious mentions of a space game titled “SOB”, and much more. But the real treasure hidden behind all these gigabytes? Valve’s new logo intro video.

Jesus tapdancing Christ. It’s like they knew the game was going to be leaked, so they purposely made the Valve intro as creepy as possible. In any case, despite the added creepiness, I think it’s pretty great. It seems like it’s going to be much more iconic than its predecessors. And hey, they’re using more of “Hazardous Environments”, or “Valve Theme (Long Version)”, which is always great.

This isn’t the first time they’ve altered the intro. Valve originally wanted it to be a a real-time sequence done in its very own level. Prior to HL2′s release, the logo itself was a bit different in both sound and image, but it was still largely the same. And then there’s the one they’ve been using since The Orange Box, with the more heavy-set, bald man.

And we even know how they got their logo, so that’s pretty cool. Oh, that’s not actually it? Oh, yeah, this is how they actually got their logo. So, what do you think of this new version? Let us know in the comments section.
