Yes, the time has finally arrived. The true, discerning filmmakers will be separated from the casual directors who will end up filming frozen pea commercials!

Oh, hey, Major. What’s that? “Don’t read on if you haven’t finished the game”? At all? Alright, got it.
You heard the man. This article contains some pretty hefty spoilers.
I was just scrolling though my really old YouTube favorites when I re-stumbled upon this, quite amusing stuff!
Mike Morasky is one of Valve’s sound designers and composers. He’s been at the company since 2005, if not earlier. He’s done work for Day of Defeat: Source, Team Fortress 2, Portal, Portal 2, and the Left 4 Dead series.
He’s been instrumental (No pun intended, that’s what the press release actually said. I wouldn’t lie about that, because it’s a pretty great pun. If I was to actually lie about it, I would pretend I came up with it. Great pun.) in developing Portal 2′s brand new dynamic music system, as well as its entire soundscape and soundtrack.
Something else that should have been released last week. Excuse the delay.
Our normal scheduling should resume shortly, and will hopefully not become a trainwreck again.
Now, you can see for yourself!
In the beginning of every single Valve game is the classic Valve opening logo. From 1998 to 2006, it was a picture of a man with a valve in his eye. From 2007 to the present, it’s a picture of a heavy-set bald man with a valve in the back of his head. Many people are curious about these openings – who are these folks? How did Valve take the pictures, and when? And, of course: “is the mans dead?”
Ask no more, for Ray Ueno, in an e-mail exchange with Reddit user vism, has at last told us what the hell is up with those images.
