Just two days ago, Notch updated Minecraft with a brand new feature: note blocks.

These things are pretty primitive (they can only play two octaves), but you have to admit, that’s a great feature right there.

And already, someone’s used them to recreate Still Alive, from Portal.

Sadly, it isn’t the full song. But the later parts of the song can’t be easily recreated using these blocks (only two octaves), and the author could only recreate the melody itself.

Still, it is really great. Check it out!
