Podcast 17 To Interview John Patrick Lowrie And Ellen McLain This Saturday (Today)

News & Rumors Other

Between the two of them, John Patrick Lowrie and Ellen McLain have voiced most of Valve’s most beloved and well-known characters. Could you imagine Portal without the voice of GLaDOS? Or HL2 without the voice of the downtrodden citizens and rebels? I sure can’t. But sometimes, hearing their voices isn’t enough. We need to find out the way they tick. And what better way to do it than a live audio interview?

Podcast 17 To Interview John Patrick Lowrie And Ellen McLain This Saturday (Today)

Podcast 17 will be interviewing Ellen McLain and John Patrick Lowrie. The interview will be streamed live, but don’t worry if you miss it – an MP3 recording will be released the following day. Most, or perhaps, all of the questions asked will be community-submitted, and you can submit your own right here. And there’s even some cool sweepstakes! Out of the total number of entries, 4 will be randomly selected by Ellen McLain herself. These 4 winners will get to select from the following prize pool:

Not sure if you can still participate by now, but there’s no harm in trying. The interview starts in about 3 hours and 50 minutes from now. Join the Podcast 17 Steam Group and you’ll get an event notification for when it begins. I will be participating in the interview myself, so even if you’re not interested in hearing other people talk, you can always tune in to listen to me and pretend everyone else is speaking Hebrew or something. Like so: “הלמה לעולם לא תוותר על הג’לי”. You can find the interview page right here.

Might check it out. The games don’t interest me too much but those glasses sure do!
