PlanetPhillip’s 2010 Mod of the Year and Map of the Year Awards
News & Rumors
Phillip Marlowe is beginning PlanetPhillip’s annual Mod of the Year awards.
This time, there will be a separate category for single maps, known as “Map of the Year”.
Phillip tried to include many different categories, but things did not exactly work out, and he couldn’t find enough content to provide an interesting vote.
So, you’ll only be voting for “Best Mod” and “Best Map”.
However, Phillip will be writing his “Review of 2010” soon, which will contain all the notable mentions and his top 3 mods of the year.
The vote for “Best Mod” will be conducted as follows:
Phase 1: Voters select from all the mods that have the highest average score from my Recommendation Image System. I have added an “Other” sections for readers to add their own choice. Voting lasts for 10 days.
Phase 2: Voters select from the top 3 mods from Phase 1. Voting lasts for 10 days.
As for “Best Map”:
Phase 1: Voters select from all the maps that have the highest average score from my Recommendation Image System. I have added an “Other” sections for readers to add their own choice. Voting lasts for 10 days.
Phase 2: Voters select from the top 3/4 maps from Phase 1. Voting lasts for 10 days.
Both categories are now in Phase 1.
Head over there and vote!

I didn’t vote for Best Map since I haven’t played any one of those,
I voted Slums 2 Extended for Best Mod (What, I really liked that mod).
I enjoyed it too, though the color correction could be a bit system-taxing at times. I voted Human Error.
