Right now, Multiplay’s Insomnia Gaming Festival is underway in the U.K. which features comepetitive play of Counter-Strike: Source, TF2 and various other games. However, they managed to stage a 5 versus 5 Counter-Strike: Global Offensive show match between VeryGames and CKRAS with over one hour of footage from the beta. Hit the jump to watch the VOD of the show match.
In addition, the official Twitter account for the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive developers recently revealed that the beta will start on 30th November 2011.
Valve made a huge mistake already by limiting console gamers to 5v5 gameplay. If you look at Valve’s competition, Activision, there are a lot of options that console gamers have to change the amount of players allowed to be in server, but if counter strike is too restricted, you will hear rambling from console gamers about how much the game sucks. However, I am glad that is the contrary for PC gamers. However I am pleased that Valve is finally adding Counter-Strike to the console gaming line. I also hope that Valve will do that for their other future releases, such as HL3
this video is so FAIL
final 5vs5 starts at 1:10 … and even the second round wasnt recorded completly …
typical IGN … like MineCon … 2hours live-stream scaling … and then failing last 10min …
I love the new look of dust, however I’m not too interested in this.
Also, where’s are more articles? Didn’t you just get more writers?
No, we don’t have any right now. What makes you think that?
