Yes, that’s Gordon over there, on number 8.

Sadly, he’s the only Valve character to make the list. Chell from Portal isn’t there, neither are any of the TF2 characters or L4D characters.

We know, we know. Master Chief beat him, and yes, the list is pretty awful. But this is no reason to complain, as in the end, we only have ourselves to blame for not voting. Hell, it’s a cool victory nonetheless!

  1. Master Chief before Gordon? wtf is wrong there…

    • He was actually good in the first Halos, then the series went downhill down the drain…
      Pretty solid list tho

      @Site staff:
      this captcha starts to really get on my nerves….can’t you find an easier system? Totally unrelated to the subject but still. On my website I used a custom captcha where you have to click a picture using the word given to you. All this new captcha security just discourages people from posting =(…

      • Recaptcha? What’s wrong with it? Seems fine to me.

      • Were working on a universal login system so you wont have to anymore soon, also re-capatcha seems to hold back the spam the most, we had a different system on the forums for testing like you mentioned which could be cracked by the bots.

        • Yes, we’re working on that as well. It’s part of our big update, which we’ve been talking about for a while. I don’t think recaptcha discourages anyone, though. What’s so daunting about typing in two words?

          • They are sometimes completely impossible to type on a few websites… I gotta admit, here it’s not too bad, but other websites (Google *cough*) it takes me 4-5 times to type it correctly.
            When I said discourages, I meant, sometimes people simply want to go to a site, with a login that stays as a cookie in their browser, and post what ever they want to. Sure, 2 words isn’t a lot, but it creates uneseesary work for the visitor. Good to hear you are coming up with a new system =)
