Left 4 Dead News: Mutation Week 18 and Movie Night!

News & Rumors Other

Freitag… IS BAD DAY! LEETLE EDITOR HAS TO WRITE ROUNDUP, L4D NEWS, AND GTTV ARTICLE! TINY BABY WEBSITE, IS NOT UNDERSTAND.

Get out of here, fat man. It’s Mutation Week 18, and we’ve got a new mutation… well, not so new, BUT, we have last week’s poll results, and a cool approach Valve has done before, for the next Mutation.

Left 4 Dead News: Mutation Week 18 and Movie Night!

Alright, so, this week’s mutation is a Return of “Last Man on Earth”, as chosen in Developer’s Choice. It was a fun mutation, but we were expecting something more creative from the devs, like “Hard Eight”. Still, we’re not weeping over it.

We’ve also got the poll results for last week’s poll “How did Bill die?”. Valve confirms the answer will come in the final chapter of the comic (also confirming the comic will cover how the gang got in Georgia), but these are the results:

PC
28% Killed by Tank
24% Overrun by Zombies
20% Friendly Fire
16% Old Age
12% Killed by Witch

xBox 360
29% Killed by Tank
25% Overrun by Zombies
17% Old Age
16% Friendly Fire
13% Killed by Witch

That’s silly. Tank punches do more than leave you sitting in front of a generator. It was obviously a horde. I DEMAND LEETLE BABBY RECOUNT.

And for the poll, Valve wants to see what mutations you’d like to see come back, excluding Realism Versus and Last Man on Earth. The winner of this poll will be next week’s Encore Mutation.

Tell us what you voted in the comments.

For their pre-Mutation post, Valve had “Movie Night”. They showed off some amazing-looking L4D fanfilms, which we’ll be covering soon.
