Experimental Source mods are starting to become relatively common. From the beautiful Dear Esther, to the excellent Radiator series, we’ve certainly seen our fair share of experimental modding. And here we have another one. Meet The Stanley Parable, just released a few days ago. What is it? An experimental, narrative-driven first-person game. “An exploration of choice, freedom, storytelling and reality, all examined through the lens of what it means to play a video game. You will make a choice that does not matter. You will follow a story that has no end. You will play a game you cannot win… it’s actually best if you don’t know anything about it before you play it.”

All in all, sounds pretty interesting. We won’t spoil anything of it (in fact, you shouldn’t even watch the trailer), so if you’ve got some spare time, you should check it out. You can find its ModDB page here.
